The Carpet is Made!

Yup, that’s right. I finally made the stupid rug. I must admit that after hearing all the downsides of it, I was pleasantly surprised at its performance. I find it strange that it is a vehicle type mount (which takes for-ever to dismount!). I have almost learned that every time I wish to dismount, I have to click off the mount. Also, seeing myself appear as an actual rug in my character profile is rather quite humorous.
Appearance wise, it does look nice. I have seen very few people with it and I like the way my character takes on a rather strange pose when he is standing on it. I thought it might have been a little slower than my regular mount, but I think it was just the way it flaps that distracted me.
But yeah, over-all I am fairly happy with it. I am looking forward to it being made into a normal mount. However, I must admit that I do enjoy the fact that if I were to be attacked while flagged PVP, they would have to kill my carpet before they got to me <evil laugh>
I wanted the flying carpet SOOO bad. I was so disappointed when I get it. Right now its still a vehicle which is stupid. I can’t put someone on follow with it. I hate how the female BElfs ride on it. After all that gold… (sigh). I just use the standard mount now, until I get my hands on a dragon.
