Group Chat.

Published by Addict at 11:39 am under Technology Edit This

Often when I am in a group with 4 other complete strangers, I tend to sit there and say nothing at all. And by ’say’, I actually mean type. But anyway, I just don’t see the point in taking part in the meaninless conversations that go on during instances. They often follow the following rules:

1. Always talk about yourself, and explain just how great you really are.

2. Never consider that there are other people in the group, not just the one or two you happen to be talking to.

3. Never call people by their actual names. Players should be called by their class names, and healers are ALWAYS to be referred to a ‘The Healer’.

4. Pretend you know more about the game than anyone else who plays. If you are caught out, use a friend as an example. Something along the lines of ‘When my friend did it that way he never wiped the whole group. Maybe it’s bugged’.

Yeah. I don’t talk a lot in groups…

I hate PUGs. I would rather not do an instance that PuG - especially if I’m having to PuG a tank or a healer. Thankfully my boyfriend is an amazing healer, so I never have to PuG those.
