Greetings!

Published by Addict at 6:48 am under Technology Edit This

Has anyone else noticed it? You will casually be running around in Dalaran, perhpas you notice you need a repair so you stroll into the nearest building. And what happens? Some random NPC will jump up from behind the counter and welcome you. How nice…

How creepy, more like it!

They will often add a class or race on the end of the greeting too, so the end result looks something like this: “Greetings, Druid”. Firstly, how can they tell what I am just by looking at me? Do I have some hideous tattoo on my forehead saying “I R A DRUD”? And secondly, their reactions are always a little slow. You will have been wondering around their store for a good few seconds before they finally pipe-up and blurt out their greeting (which if often complimented with a little wave). This delay means that if you are walking in behind someone, just as you walk in the ‘greeter’ will welcome them. Hello! Since when do I look like a Gnome?

Oh, the pointless aspects of WoW never fail to entertain…
