Yet More Information on the Carpet.

I do apologize to those who really could not care less about the Magnificent Flying Carpet. However, with Patch number 3.8 released yesterday, some changes have been made to it. As I reported on this blog last week, it is no longer a vehicle mount. Well I actually reported it was no longer going to be a vehicle mount after the next patch, which it no longer is!
I skimmed through the patch notes yesterday and completely missed the fact it had been changed. Then I logged on, mounted up and I was no longer the carpet (anyone who has one will understand what I mean by this). Just to try it out, I mounted and clicked an attack button on a near by mob. It worked! Carper users no longer need to dismount then attack! About time too…
Unfortunately, the mob I attacked was an elite, and had two elite friends so that never worked out too well, but it was worth it to finally have a regular mount again!
Now don’t be surprised if you see a huge increase in carpets flying over your head in game…
